Lucien Elsen
Mesa verde was born out of Lucien's passion for great food. About 15 years ago, Lucien - already a professional chef - decided to travel around the world on a personal exploration of international cuisine and culture, leaving his first restaurant, Shanti in Brussels, behind for a while. On his return he established Mesa verde in Luxembourg to serve the foods he discovered. Mesa verde has become well known for its excellent vegetarian dishes and seafood.
Kai Kraemer
Kai is Lucien's business partner, and is the creative mind behind the interior decor of the restaurant, which she redesigns every 4 years or so.
Surendra Rangram
Surendra started as a chef in Mesa verde. He soon showed his strong character and abilities, and has been managing the restaurant since 2002.
